Nate Lichte is the General Manager of IEI: Advise at the Institute for Education Innovation, boasting over a decade of experience in the education field, covering K-12, post-secondary, adult, juvenile justice, and corrections education.

His journey began as an admission representative, quickly advancing to the role of Assistant Director of Admissions, where he led a team of 20 admission representatives. He then spent five years working in various positions within colleges and universities.

Fuelled by his passion for education, Nate joined MyMajors, a National Science Foundation-backed startup dedicated to helping students find their ideal majors. There, he collaborated with university presidents, provosts, and advisors to set students up for success as they began their university careers.

In his quest to support more students, Nate made a strategic move to Ad Astra Information Systems, a trusted partner for colleges and universities, where data-informed planning and course scheduling empower institutions to remove barriers to student degree completion. In roles such as Services Solutions Manager and Marketing Strategist, he played a pivotal role in launching new products and services that contributed to additional revenue and enhanced support for students' on-time graduation.

As the former Managing Director of Brainchild, a provider of academic enrichment and supplemental curriculum for K-12 students and adult learners, Nate exhibited remarkable leadership, steering the organization to break company records even during a global pandemic.

In his current role at IEI, Nate is tasked with overseeing and leading all aspects of IEI: Advise, the advisory and consulting division of the Institutes for Education Innovation. He is also a passionate advocate for equity and inclusivity for All students. He passionately supports the LGBTQ+ Mid-America Chamber of Commerce and advocates for LGBTQ+ students, educators, and staff.

Nate and his husband, Jack Lichte, call the vibrant city of Kansas City, Missouri home. They share their lives with their two beloved rescue dogs, Tebow and Jemma. Beyond their fulfilling careers, they take great joy in their roles as devoted uncles to multiple nieces and nephews, spanning ages from 8 months to 22 years.
