With nearly three decades of service as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, and  superintendent, Dr. Kyle Barrentine is serving the Shenandoah School Corporation as its  Superintendent after having served the Nettle Creek School Corporation in the same position for  the past three years.  
While at Nettle Creek (Hagerstown, IN), Dr. Barrentine and his team were able to implement an  instructional framework that provided a common instructional language district wide as well as  providing a collaborative leadership model to establish career ladders for all staff. In  Shenandoah, Dr. Barrentine has led a Strategic Planning process that has yielded a five-year plan  that is prioritizing teaching and learning, care, and winning together.  
One final thought about Dr. Barrentine is his commitment to his family. Dr. Barrentine is  married to Whitney, an Instructional Coach in the Shenandoah School Corporation. Dr.  Barrentine’s oldest daughter (25), Bailey, is a first-grade teacher at Reagan Elementary in  Brownsburg. Kailyn, Dr. Barrentine’s 22-year-old, is a Kindergarten teacher at Clinton Central
