The only K-12 pitch competition judged by superintendents

It all starts with your solution, a stage, and the feedback that can transform it all.

What is SupeTank?

SupeTank is a live pitch competition where early-stage EdTech companies present directly to sitting superintendents and high-level district leaders, the people who influence district adoption.

More than a competition, SupeTank gives founders direct access to superintendent feedback, opportunities to refine their pitch (and their solution), and meaningful visibility across the EdTech community, all while competing for recognition and top honors.

Behind the Scenes: Preparing for SupeTank

Recorded during our Startup Success Lab, these startup founders share how early district leader feedback will help them advance their solutions and prepare for SupeTank.

If I had this (SupeTank) a few years ago, it would have accelerated things to the nth degree.

As a newcomer to the scene, it was (and still is!) important for us to get our message in front of the people we aim to serve, and to do it in a forum that can accomplish a bunch of that at one time.

It’s always great to be able to get in front of district leaders and lifelong educators and just get their insights and their perspective. And at the end of the day, if we're not solving a problem that they validate, then we have no business.

What is SupeTank?

SupeTank is a pitch competition for EdTech start-up companies that have a solution geared towards K-12 students within the U.S. Over two days at our national summit, selected start-ups will present their solution to panels of superintendents, district leaders, and industry executives. Each company gets focused time to pitch, answer questions, and receive direct feedback from decision-makers who understand the K–12 market.

Check this Program and Pricing guide for more information.

Who should apply?

Early-stage education companies ranging from bootstrapped founders to those with angel funding. These are organizations still in their growth phase, testing, refining, and scaling their solutions, and seeking connections, feedback, and partnerships to accelerate their impact.

Participants are chosen from applicants who meet two of the following:

3 or fewer district sales,
<$1 million in revenue,
or, pre-Series A.

Is SupeTank a good first step for entering the U.S. market?
Yes. SupeTank gives you direct access to U.S. superintendents and district leaders, helping you understand how schools evaluate, adopt, and implement new solutions. You will gain insight into district priorities, expectations, and buying processes so you can enter the market with greater clarity and confidence.
Can I re-apply if I've participated before?
Yes, you may apply for this years SupeTank, even if you participated in the last SupeTank, as long as you still qualify.
Are all participating companies AI-focused?
No. SupeTank brings together a diverse group of EdTech companies across a range of focus areas. Whether or not your solution involves AI, what matters most is alignment with district needs.
What are the key dates to keep in mind?
SupeTank 2026 will take place alongside our summer summit over two days: July 21-22, 2026. If you are accepted, you will need to be in Deer Valley, UT, by the morning of Tuesday, July 21.

All accepted companies have one month from their accepted emails to pay the registration fee.
When will I know if I'm accepted?
You will hear from us in Spring 2026 on whether or not you have been accepted.
What is the participant's role and responsibilities?
Participants are expected to fully engage in the SupeTank experience, including all pitch sessions and networking opportunities on July 21 and 22, 2026. This is your opportunity to represent your company, build relationships, and make the most of direct access to district leaders.
Does attending still provide value without being a finalist?
Absolutely. You and your company will meet superintendents and district leaders from across the country, giving you visibility with real decision-makers. In addition to networking meals, these connections can open doors to referrals, pilot opportunities, and ongoing district conversations.
What kind of return on investment can I expect?
Your return comes in the form of clarity, connections, and momentum. You gain direct feedback from superintendents, visibility with district decision-makers, and opportunities for follow-up conversations that can lead to pilots or partnerships. Past winners have secured pilot agreements on the spot, and for many companies, a significant portion of the districts they work with today started through connections made at SupeTank.
How many superintendents are there and how many are assigned per company?
You will be in front of more than 40 IEI superintendents and district leaders from across the country. Each SupeTank panel includes four superintendents, giving you focused, high-quality feedback from experienced decision-makers.
Can I book another hotel outside of the conference center?
Yes, although we do offer a discounted room rate through our hotel block.  It is also advised that you stay for all of the networking events at the conference location.
