Keynote
Mike Miles
Mike Miles has spent his career in public service as a soldier, diplomat, and educator. Most recently, he served as founder and CEO of Third Future Schools, a school transformation system focused on preparing students for the future workforce.
Previously, Miles served as Superintendent of Dallas ISD and Harrison School District in Colorado Springs, where he led major initiatives, built high-performance cultures, and drove significant gains in student achievement. He has also worked nationally as an instructional leader, supporting teachers and administrators to improve practice and outcomes.
Before his education career, Miles served as an Army Ranger officer and later joined the U.S. State Department as a Soviet analyst and diplomat in Poland and Russia during the end of the Cold War. He holds degrees from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, UC Berkeley, and Columbia University.
